Meet our Staff

Bobby J. Tutor, President

Bobby has been actively involved in the construction industry for over 35 years. After ten years in residential building and a six-year career with the United States Navy, Bobby entered an apprenticeship program sponsored by Independent Electrical Contractors, Inc. (IEC, Inc.) to pursue a career in the electrical field. Bobby's outstanding work ethic and pursuit of excellence contributed to him being chosen as Student of the Year in both his second and fourth year of apprenticeship training. Bobby is a licensed Master Electrician who worked for three large electrical contractors before launching his own company in 1993.

Bobby is committed to the successful future of the independent electrical contractor through his association with the IEC, Inc. Fort Worth - Tarrant County Chapter, IEC, Inc. of Texas and IEC National. His 14 year involvement includes a variety of leadership positions including Board Member (since 1995), Committee Chairs, Past Vice President and President of Fort Worth - Tarrant County Chapter, Past President IEC of Texas in Austin and currently serves as National Senior Vice President.

Diana Tutor, Secretary-Treasurer

Diana has been actively involved in the construction industry for over 30 years. Her wealth of experience in Purchasing, Accounting, and Office Management served her well in positions with a general contractor and fire protection contractor before joining Bobby at Tutor Electrical Service, Inc. Diana currently serves as Corporate Secretary-Treasurer, Bookkeeper, and General Office Manager.

Brian K. Brinkmann, Operations Manager

Brian has been actively involved in the electrical industry since 1990. After eight years in Retail Management, Brian entered and completed a four-year Electrical Apprenticeship Training Program. He came to Tutor Electrical Service, Inc. from a contractor in Florida where he worked as a Project Foreman/Superintendent, successfully completing several large commercial and institutional projects. Brian is a licensed Journeyman Electrician and has worked as Project Foreman and Estimator before becoming Operations/Project Manager. Brian holds a Post-Secondary Technical Degree in Industrial Electricity, and graduate degrees in Theology.

Brian W. Chinchilla, Project Manager

Brian has actively been involved with the electrical industry since 1996. Brian entered and completed a four-year apprenticeship program with the Independent Electrical Contractors Association graduating in 2000. Brian is a licensed Journeyman Electrician who has held positions from Apprentice, Journeyman, Project Foreman, and Field Superintendent responsible for all field operations, and is currently serving as an Estimator/Project Manager.

Robert D. Clark III, Field Superintendent/Service Manager

Robert has actively been involved with the building industry for over 25 years and in the electrical industry since 1998. Robert entered and completed a four-year apprenticeship program with the Independent Electrical Contractors Association graduating in 2004. Robert is a licensed Journeyman Electrician who has held positions from Apprentice, Journeyman, Project Foreman, and is now serving as Field Superintendent responsible for all field operations and Service Manager responsible for our service department.

Darrell Thornhill, Purchasing /Warehouse Manager

Darrell joined Tutor Electrical Service in September of 2009 with 5 years of sales and material management experience in the electrical industry. He began his electrical career with the corporate inventory control department of a Texas based electrical distributor in 2004 and in 2007 he moved to a sales position with one of the distributors local branches where he worked for 2 years. Darrell coordinates all material purchasing and delivery and oversees all warehouse operations and equipment maintenance.

Heather M. Scott, Administrative Assistant

Heather holds a key position with Tutor Electrical Service, Inc. She effectively works as an administrative assistant to accounting and project management departments. She is also the delightful voice you hear when calling our company.
